GVE's annual BBQ with the Ferrari Owners Club!

London’s leading luxury supercar specialist, GVE, hosted 50 Ferraris in conjunction with the Ferrari Owners’ Club on Saturday 2nd July at its showroom.

Held in the 20,000 sq ft West London showroom, GVE entertained clients and Ferrari Owners’ Club members with live tours and expert Q&A sessions in its respective servicing and detailing workshops, alongside a BBQ and live Formula 1 coverage.

The service workshop, which is based at GVE’s HQ, was used throughout the day for live demonstrations and Q&As. GVE’s in-house technicians specialise in everything from a complete engine overhaul on a 288 GTO to basic service on a 488 GTB.

GVE has recently diversified its after-care offering to its customers by opening a brand new in-house detailing centre. GVE’s leading detailing team were on hand to answer the guest’s questions on paintwork throughout the afternoon.

The afternoon Ferrari gathering also involved a BBQ and live streaming of the Austrian Grand Prix qualifying. The Ferrari Owners’ Club of Great Britain is the only membership club of its type run in conjunction with Ferrari.

Commenting on the success of the meet area group organiser of the Ferrari Owners’ Club, Shirley Chiltern-Hunt said: “This is the second year we have been invited to a GVE BBQ lunch and the first time we have seen the new premises. David has done a wonderful job with the presentation and styling of the new showroom, enabling the cars to be shown to their best advantage in the immaculate surroundings. The new service centre is a natural progression and the table tennis, pool and simulator are a brilliant idea to keep the kids happy!”

GVE’s founder and managing director David Rai added: “I’ve always loved being around cars. It’s a dream come true to see so many people in the showroom with their Ferraris – I just stood back and thought ‘I made this happen’ and it’s made me really proud to be a part of it and share the moment with the Ferrari Owners’ Club.”
